Southern California Fall is different from the rest of the United States. we get some cold days here and there, but not enough to invest in a full fall wardrobe.
I am always hesitant to buy sweaters or jackets because I don’t know how much use I will get out of them. To me, they just take up space in my closet and are only used a small part of the year. I’m going to share some fall trends I’m bringing to the table this year.
this dress from free people screams fall with the long sleeves and muted floral’s. I’ve seen psychedelic floral prints everywhere lately. For Fall, they are an absolute must. what I love about this dress is that you can dress it up or down. pair it with funky sneakers, combat boot, or strappy heel. the versatility is what sold me.
black combat boots
I never hopped on the Doc Marten trend, but instead got a pair of Jeffrey Campbell black patent leather combat boots. These are easily one of my best purchases to date. my favorite way to wear them is with dresses. it’s the perfect amount of edge to any look.
snake-skin booties, heels, and accessories have made a big appearance this fall. I have a pair of snake-skin heels that I absolutely LOVE. the best part of printed shoes is how much they make an outfit standout.
flair jeans are also such a statement to any outfit. it took me a while to find a pair because they have to fit just right. I found a pair of ribcage Levi’s that I love. I can’t wait to pair it with chunky sweaters and heels.
I knew that I was becoming a real woman when I bought my first blazer. I love how I feel when I wear one. I scored a white oversized blazer at Nordstrom Rack by Something Navy.blazers can be worn pretty much year round and they are the perfect California fall piece.
I love dusters, they are elegant and chic. they add a chic touch to a casual outfit.
